Carlos Rodriguez Jr.

Carlos Rodriguez Jr., first generation Cuban-American, father, grandfather, son, and business owner, passed away on July 6, 2023 at the age of 56. He was born on April 7, 1967 to Carlos and Kitty Rodriguez in New Orleans. After graduating from Ganus High School, Carlos received an athletic scholarship to attend Mississippi College, then later, attended UNO and the University of Georgia. As a dedicated businessman, he built a successful logistics company, taking pride in creating a legacy for his children. Carlos enjoyed the little things in life; he was an avid LSU fan and loved watching games with his family. Quite the sportsman, he took pleasure in spending time on the Louisiana water and playing golf. Carlos is survived by his four children: Chelsea, Lauren, John Cole, and Mary Katherine Rodriguez; his two brothers Stevan and Chris Rodriguez; his father Carlos Sr., and four grandchildren: Blythe, Charlie, Lennon, and Henry. Carlos is preceded in death by his mother, Kitty.
