Carlo Maltese Sr.
Carlo “Butz” Stanley Maltese, Sr. went to be with the Lord on May 16, 2023 at the age of 79. Carlo is survived by his three sons Carlo S. Maltese Jr. (Danielle), Mark A. Shano, and Samuel J. Shano (Kelly); His brothers Sonny Maltese (Toni), and Anthony Maltese (Patty); Grandfather to Zachary Karajulles (Jessica), Tiffany Gilmore (Bryan), Carlo Maltese III (Deana), Maddy Boteler, Samuel Maltese, Alexis Shano, Mark Shano Jr., Kali Shano, Aaliyah Shano, Aniyah Shano, Jaden Burkhalter, Morgan Shano, Kayla Stutts, and Quinn Stutts; Great-grandfather of Zachary, Zander, Ethan, Bryson, Bryleigh, Izzy, Sebastain, Ella, and Cole. Carlo Is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
Carlo is preceded in death by his loving wife Elaine Shano Maltese of 33 years, his parents Salvadore J. and Norah M. Maltese, and his sister Nora Lee.
Carlo was a longtime resident of Braithwaite, Louisiana. He retired from Plaquemines parish Government and Sheriff’s Office. Carlo was a great friend to many and enjoyed spending his time with his family, watching his western movies, deer hunting, and running dogs.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial service at his residence on June 11th, 2023 from 11am-3pm.
