Bruce John Treubel, born March 12, 1946, passed away on January 30, 2026. He was a resident of Mandeville, Louisiana, and a native of Buffalo, New York.
Bruce proudly served in the United States Army, including service in Vietnam, and was honored with four medals for his dedication and service to his country.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Linda Treubel; his daughter, Crystal Darlene Spell; his son, Troy Sean Huizar; his brother, Craig Treubel; and his four cherished grandchildren, Noah, Nathan, Brinna, and Joseph.
He was preceded in death by his father, Irving Frank Treubel; his mother, Jane Helen Gibson; and his son, Byron Weiymann.
Bruce had a deep love for golf, both playing and watching, and was a devoted fan of the New Orleans Saints as well as football in general. He was also a talented artist, known for his paintings of wildlife and mountain scenery, which reflected his appreciation for nature and quiet beauty.
Services will be held at St. Timothy’s Church in Mandeville, with the date to be announced. Bruce’s final resting place will be a memorial tree on Bio Montgomery Street, where he will rest alongside other family members.
