Brenda Faye King

Brenda Faye Nettles King passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at the age of 79.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Reba McManus Nettles and Frank Nettles, her husband Wayne King, brother Joseph F. Nettles and her daughter Vicki Q. Johnson.

She is survived by her two sisters Betty Keating and Helen Candies, her children Rachel Tyrney and James Quave, III (Kim). She is also survived by her grandchildren Michelle Revere, Danielle Tyrney, Logan Balser, Mikie Quave, Steven Quave (Kayleigh), Luke Quave, Emma Quave and Zachary Quave, as well as her great-great-grandchildren; Kaiden Center and McKenzie Quave.

Brenda was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and resided in Covington, Louisiana.

Brenda was loved by many, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was loved by many including her special family she made at Forest Manor Nursing Home. The family would like to offer many thanks for the love and care they showed to her and even gave her a nickname “B.K.”

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Monday January 15, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana 70435 with visitation from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
