Brad was born on July 14, 1964, in Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Hammond, Louisiana. He was a devoted father, brother, and uncle, widely cherished for his kindness and commitment to his family, friends and community.

Brad was known for his generosity, compassion and desire to help others. He found joy in weight-lifting, volunteering, sharing his faith, bible study and lending a hand to anyone in need.

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Lexi Butler, along with his brother, Steve Butler and his wife Teddy, and his sister, Keri Rafferty and her husband Brian. Brad also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephew, Jessy Butler, Cole Butler, Ela Rafferty, Ava Rafferty and Meagan Butler and her son Colton. He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Butler and mother, Jo Butler. Brad’s family and many close friends and co-workers will carry fond memories of his smile, hugs and fist bumps.

Brad’s unwavering love for his family, friends and commitment to uplifting others will always be remembered. He leaves behind a lasting impact on those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Although all will miss him, he is secure in the arms of a loving God and Savior.

A memorial service to honor Brad’s life will be held on June 1, 2025, at Grace Family Church, 5101 Van Dyke Rd. in Lutz, Florida, starting at 2:00 PM and concluding at 4:00 PM. Family, friends, and those whose lives were touched by Brad are invited to come together to celebrate his legacy.
