Born on November 19, 1952, Billie Jean was a cherished member of the Covington community, known for her warm spirit, tireless work ethic, and deep devotion to family and friends. She spent much of her life caring for others as a housekeeper, and over the years, many of those she worked for became dear friends who treasured her kindness and loyalty.

Billie Jean found joy in the simple pleasures of life—spending time with her beloved son Michael Rogers, her sister and best friend JoAnn Desmond, and her loyal dogs. Family was the center of her world, and she especially loved being in the company of her many nieces, nephews, and cousins all of whom held a special place in her heart. She also shared a close bond with her daughter-in-law, Erin Diamond, and her Aunt Judy Mathies.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ronnie Rogers; her beloved son Matthew Rogers; her parents, Claire Mathies Blow and Edward Blow; her siblings Terry Blow, Mickey Blow, Janet Francois, and Mary Anthony.

Billie Jean will be remembered for her quiet strength, compassionate heart, and unwavering love for those closest to her. She had a feisty spirit that drove her compassion for those whom she cared for most. Her legacy of warmth, service, and family devotion will live on in all who knew and loved her.

A private family service will be held in her honor. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local animal shelter, in memory of Billie Jean’s deep affection for dogs.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
