Bess Jung

Bess Jung, born on July 8, 1948, in Jackson, Mississippi, passed away on June 14, 2025, in Mandeville, Louisiana. She was a loving wife to her husband, Robert Jung, and a caring mother to her two children, Robbie and Christian Jung.

Bess had a passion for reading, painting, drawing, and enjoyed solving crossword puzzles in her free time. Her creative spirit and love for the arts brought joy to her life and those around her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, children Robbie and Christian, siblings Claude Maley, Thomas Maley, and Mildred Dodson, and her cherished grandchildren, Jordan and Ethan Jung. Bess was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Mildred Maley, and brother Gerald Maley.

Bess was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend. She is loved deeply by her family and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A graveside service to honor Bess Jung will be held on June 21, 2025, at Live Oak Cemetery in Pass Christian, Mississippi, starting at 12:00 PM.
