On the 9th of April 2026 Barbara Jo Friese was reunited with Harry 'Snake' Friese in the hereafter.

Born to Joseph F. Behal and Barbara C. Behal on September 16, 1934, Barbara was a native of Galveston, Texas. Later in life, she settled in Mandeville, Louisiana where she raised a family with the love of her life Harry 'Snake' Friese. Barbara and Harry never tired of each other and could often be found on the shrimp boat when they weren't out riding their Harleys together. Barbara also loved breeding and showing dogs, adventuring with her trailer, and spending time with her friends and loved ones.

Barbara Jo Friese is survived by her children: Dr. Joseph Jerry Behal (Madeline J. Behal) and Matthew N. Behal. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren: Jaquelyn L. Mangold, Myra Quinn, and James Behal; as well as her great-grandchildren: Layla Mangold, Gwendolyn Mangold, Oliver Mangold, and Elena Mangold.

Barbara Jo Friese will be remembered fondly by all those who loved her.
