Arthur Joseph Hoffmann, was called to be with the Lord on September 7, 2026. Arthur was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. He attended Francis T. Nicholls High School where he met the love of his life Janis Lambert Hoffmann. On April 4, 1964, they got married. They made their home in "little woods" and in 1984 moved to Slidell and have never left. He worked as a sheet metal mechanic & upon retirement he did computer drafting.

He leaves behind a loving family who will cherish his memory, including his devoted wife, Janis L. Hoffmann; his son, Arthur L. Hoffmann and his beautiful wife Tracy, his grandson Steven L. Hoffmann; his siblings, Margaret Dubuisson, Hyacinth Serpas (Valance) his sister-in-law Mildred Hoffmann; and brother-in-law Willie Johnson. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were touched by him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Raymond Hoffmann and Edna Marie Ducote Hoffmann; his son Arthur J. Hoffmann, Jr., his brothers, John "Jay" Hoffmann (Jackie), Jerrel "Jerry" Hoffmann, Sister, Edna Hoffmann Johnson and brother-in-law Joseph Dubuisson.

Arthur lived life with warmth, laughter, and a deep love for family and friendship.

In his free time, Arthur enjoyed the great outdoors. He especially loved having a very close relationship with his family and creating countiess treasured memories having dinners and vacationing with his sisters & their spouses that will live on in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

Arthur's legacy is one of love, devotion to family, and the happiness he brought to others. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered with love.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Hospice House of Slidell, P.O. Box 5806, Slidell, LA 70469.
