It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Amanda Marie Raines-Oustalet on the eleventh of May, 2026, aged 45.

Born in Gretna on the 17th of March to Kathy Raines Funck, Amanda spent her early life in Metairie amongst her siblings Ashley Goley (Johnathen), Frankie Funck (McCormick), and Katie Funck (William). It was there that she was instilled with the importance of family and good food, as well as a love of spending time amongst the trees and nature in the parks.

Amanda came to settle in Jefferson where she and her partner in life, Brad Oustalet, raised two loving children Dylan Spiers and Bryson Oustalet.

Dylan and Bryson were Amanda's proudest gifts to the world. She found peace and joy in fishing and loved spending time outdoors surrounded by nature. She also enjoyed keeping up with politics, makeup, and always made time to watch her shows. Amanda also adored cats and loved good food.

A service honoring Amanda Raines-Oustalet is scheduled for the fifteenth of May, 2026 at the Bagnell and Son Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM, service begins at 12:00 PM, and committal ceremony to follow immediately after at the Reed-Raines Memorial Gardens.
