Alberta Savoie

Alberta Marie Savoie was a native of Des Allemands and a long time resident of Abita Springs, La. passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 68. Alberta is survived by her daughter Laura Homrich (Ricky), her siblings; Clarence H. “Sonny” Savoie (Merle), Geraldine Hervieu, Curtis Savoie, Wilfred Savoie, Dennis Savoie, Mark Savoie (Betty Lou), stepchildren; Harold “Bubby” Verdon, Harris Verdon (Christie) and her step grandchild; Dean Verdon. Alberta is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Alberta is preceded in death by her parents; Clarence and Wanda Savoie, her brother Dwight “Steve” Savoie and her brother-in -law Frank Hervieu. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church 17292 LA-631, Des Allemands, La. 70030 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:00 a.m. until service time.
