Rodney Barrilleaux

Rodney Paul Barrilleaux, Sr. passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at his home in Harvey, LA. He was born on January 16, 1966 in Marrero, LA. Rodney was the son of Lester Barrilleaux and the late Emily Soliday and stepson of Margie Barrilleaux and the late Luther Soliday. Rodney leaves behind to cherish his memory his partner and the love of his life Elizabeth Burdwell and children Rodney Barrilleaux Jr., Stephen Guibeau and Melanie Burdwell. He was the loving grandfather of Donte Burdwell, Taliyah St. Cyr and Makaya Guilbeau. He helped raise Joe and Jessica Guibeau. He was godfather to Henry Faulker, Jr and a loving brother of Linda Dominick (deceased) , Perry Barrilleaux, Priscilla Faulkner, Allan Barrilleaux (Esmeralda), Ernest Barrilleaux, Adele Matherne, Leslie Lauman, Kevin Soliday (Heather), Cheryl Bennett and Larry Soliday. Rodney also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews. Rodney was a mechanic and fiberglass installer. He enjoyed fishing, family and his New Orleans Saints team. A Private Memorial will be held for family and friends at a later date.
