Phillip Liuzza, Jr.

Phillip Anthony Liuzza Jr., 39, passed away peacefully in his mother’s arms on May 13,2019. Phillip was born December 2, 1979 in New Orleans, La. He continued to suffer brain damage from an auto accident 19 years ago. Before then, he was a resident of St. Bernard Parish and Slidell, La. Phillip was the beloved son of Phillip A. Liuzza Sr., Rhonda Fried Bovia and step/father, Kelly J Bovia Jr. His life and love continue through his sister, Erica Acosta Thieler and step-sister, Morryne Bovia including aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and great niece and nephew. Phillip is predeceased by his grandparents, Henry J. Fried III & Jeanette Molinary Fried and Mike & Shirley Liuzza. He was a student at Nunez Community College seeking a welding degree and worked side jobs. Phillip was currently residing at Trinity Neurological Rehabilitation, Slidell, La. where he was specially cared for by their wonderful staff following his accident. He touched many lives and was filled with so much, genuine, unconditional love.
