Lucia Maria Foley

Lucia Maria Adelheid Delsing Foley passed away on December 28, 2017 at the age of 92 she was born in Nijmegen Holland on December13, 1925 to Lucia Theodora Catharina and Bernard Heinrich Delsing.  Lucia was raised by her beloved parents in s’Hertogenbosch Holland. Following World War II and the death of her father, in 1948 at the age of 23, she immigrated to the United States and worked in Washington DC for the Dutch Embassy.  She was married to Robert L. Foley, April 14, 1953 at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Washington DC.  Mrs. Foley was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Johann and Rudolf, and husband of many years, Robert.

She will dearly be missed by her daughter Marina Foley Berry (William) and son David Foley (Cathy), Grandchildren Kimberly Berry Szubinski (Clint) Brian Berry (Jane), Courtney Berry, Justin Berry (Sarah), Miles Foley and Haylie Foley St. Angelo (Bradley). Great Grandchildren Kyla,Tate, Liam and Aiden Szubinski, Aubrey and Leo Berry and Eloise Marcotte, her sister Ria Van Daalen Wetters and  niece and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services on January 2, 2018 at 4:30 pm  in The First Baptist Church, Covington. LA 16333 Louisiana Highway 1085 Covington, LA 70433.
