Joan Dubos

Joan Champagne Dubos passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at 90 years old. She was a native of Des Allemands, LA., she was a true Chalmation at heart, and resided in Mandeville, La for the last 17 years. The wife of the late Roland A. Dubos, mother of the late Melanie Dubos, Karen Bachemin, the late David Dubos, Laura Dubos, Linda Pitre, and the late Judy Boasso. Loving mother-in-law to the late Barry Bachemin, Patty Poche Dubos, Paul Signorino, the late Frank Pitre and Roy Boasso II. Daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Champagne. Survived by her brother George Champagne. Preceded in death by her sisters and brothers; Verda, Virgie, Dan, Albert, Johnny and Guy. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Joan was a beautiful woman whose whole heart belonged to God and her family. She had a special talent for creating beautiful paintings and won several awards for her artistry. She will be missed by all and her family has faith that she is at eternal peace with many loved ones in heaven. Relatives and friends are invited to attend at Funeral Mass on Tuesday August 13, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Interment to follow in The Eternal Rest Cemetery.
