Jerome Day

Jerome Joseph Day went to be with the Lord on Saturday January 28, 2017, at the age of 57. He was loved by his wife Sarah Day for over thirty five years. A native of Trion, GA and a resident of New Orleans, LA. Jerome is survived by his loving spouse of more than 35 years, Sarah Day. His two children, Shaun Day and Brittany McCloud (Chase McCloud). His four grandchildren, Dylan Day, Sebastian, Eliana, and Axel McCloud, his beloved friend Opal Post, mother, Gail Martin, sister, Joann Scherer (Harold), along with many nieces and nephews. Jerome enjoyed cooking for friends and family, cheering on the New Orleans Saints, spending the day on the golf course and fishing on the lake. He was a wonderful man with a great sense of humor and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.
The Memorial Service will be Held at Harbor Community Church, 6100 Canal Blvd.t New Orleans Louisiana 70124, Friday February 10, 2017 from 10am to 1pm.
