Danny Barbier

Danny Michael Barbier a devout Catholic passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018. Born in New Orleans, Louisiana; he graduated from West Jefferson High School and served in the United States Army. Danny worked for LP&L and for Superior Energy, where he retired with over 30 years of faithful service. He was the number one fan of LSU Football. Preceded in death by his parents, Raynold J. and Beatrice Dantin Barbier, grandparents; Eno J. and Alcide Barbier, Maternal grandparents Clarence Sr. (Peanut) and Hayde Dantin, Aunt Marie Dantin Cancienne, Uncles Roy Barbier and E.J. Barbier. He is survived by his sister Kathy Barbier Bernadas brother-in-law Lester Bernadas, nephew Lester Joseph Bernadas all of Covington, Louisiana. He is also survived by his cousins; Susie Dantin Theriot, Noel Dantin, Celeste Cancienne Mille, Joy Barbier Plaisance, Don Barbier, Jane Barbier Morange and faithful dog Annie Mae. Danny made his home in Broussard, Louisiana, he was loved by many friends and will be greatly missed. Family and friends are invited to attend the Graveside services on Saturday September 29, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Westlawn Memorial Park 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, Louisiana 70056.
