- About Us
Daniel Jacob Cardaro, 55, went to be with his Lord on October 5, 2018. He was born on November 8, 1962 and was a native of New Orleans and a resident of Bogalusa, Louisiana. He was the loving son of the late Peter and Ophelia Cardaro. Brother to Elizabeth C. Markey, Nancy C. Scearce, the late Kathleen Anna Cardaro, the late Susan C. Tullos and brother-in-law to George Tullos Jr. He is also survived and fondly remembered by his soulmate Joy Boudreaux and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Danny was a loving and generous spirit who made it his life's goal to help and uplift others. When not engaged in his passion for building and racing cars, he was freely sharing his time, talent, and joy. At an early age he could be found tinkering with tools found in his grandpa's backyard shed and in his teen and early adult years helping his Dad with his carpentry business. He enjoyed fishing, being outdoors, and anything to do with tools. As a young man, Danny found that he had a love for cars and racing and life changed forever. From that point he could often be found building his own race car, helping someone else build their car, or at race events...either driving, supporting other racers, or just enjoying the events and people. Daniel loved his family and friends immensely and spent time with them whenever possible. He loved to laugh and joke.
