Cathy Geeck

Cathy Parker Geeck, 49, of Lacombe, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by family, and friends, on March 26th, 2019. Cathy was born to Grady Andrew Parker, and Ethel Perret Parker, November 14, 1969, in New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Pope John Paul, in 1987, and received a Nursing Degree from Charity School of Nursing in 2014. She married Don Geeck, in 2016, and they lived together in Lacombe, LA. She leaves as her legacy one daughter: Christina Johnson (Sean Johnson), and one step daughter Nicole Seals (Marlon Seals). She also leaves to cherish her memory three siblings, Ronald, Rusty, and Kenneth (Rami) Parker. She is also survived by her three beautiful grandchildren Logan, Kamryn, and Jayden.  Her children remember her as a beautiful, kind, woman, with a big heart for helping others. She was preceded in death by Grady Andrew Parker, (father), Ethel Perret Parker, (mother), and Grady Andrew Parker Jr. (brother). Cathy was a RN supervisor at Northlake Behavioral Center, and was passionate about taking care of her patients to the best of her ability. She had a vision for how to take care of patients that inspired her coworkers daily.  Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial Service on April 6, 2019 in The Chapel of bagnell & Son Funeral Home 75212 Hwy 437 Covington, Louisiana at 11:00 a.m. with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time.  In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Lung Cancer Research Foundation to help further research for Lung Cancer.
