Burt Horstmann Jr.

Burt Albert Horstmann Jr. age 68 of Covington, La. passed away on Monday October 8, 2018, at St. Joseph Hospice / The Carpenter House. Beloved husband of Donna Davis Horstmann. He was the son of Burt A. Horstmann Sr. and Bess Denoux Horstmann and is survived by one sister Sandra Horstmann Roberts. Burt was heavily involved with first aid training and civil defense activities. He also advocated for handicap endeavors and access through his political activities. Church bible study teaching was another passion of his through his membership at Cornerstone Assembly of God.  Always giving of himself to help others, Burt often volunteered both in his church and community for various causes and projects he was passionate about. Pastor Doug Gilford will have services at Cornerstone Assembly of God at 23051 Highway 1088 Mandeville, Louisiana 70448 on Saturday, October 20, 2018 beginning at 11:00 am.
