Betty Hamilton LeBlanc passed away peacefully in her home on June 27, 2018. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley J. LeBlanc, Jr., and her parents Elena Maria Bottesini Hamilton and Guy D. Hamilton, Sr. Betty is survived by her daughter Emily (Em) LeBlanc Cooper (Brandon) of Baton Rouge and her son Stanley J. LeBlanc, III of Covington. Betty is also survived by her brothers, Guy D. Hamilton, Jr. of Santa Barbara, CA and John Gregory (Greg- Flapper) Hamilton of Anchorage, AK, and her sister Maria (Ree Ree) Hamilton of New Orleans. Betty is also survived by her granddaughter, Mila Elizabeth LeBlanc, of Slidell along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. Betty was very active in St. Tammany Parish including involvement with the St. Tammany Library Foundation, PTA, Louisiana Republican Women, the Parents Resource Institute for Drug Education (PRIDE), St. Tammany Chamber, Leadership St. Tammany, and many others. Betty was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School in New Orleans and a Vice President of Bank of New Orleans.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday June 30, 2018 from 10:00 am till 12:00 pm at Bagnell and Son Funeral Home located at 75212 Lee Road, Covington, LA 70435. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pride Youth and Community Resources, P.O. Box 3, Mandeville, LA 70470.
